Sizing decides everything that follows

Most UPS problems trace back to the day it was specified rather than the day it failed. A bank sized on nameplate load with no allowance for growth, ambient temperature or battery ageing will hold up its rated runtime on day one and fall short of it within a couple of years. We size against the actual load profile and the runtime you need at end of battery life, not at the beginning.
